What Is CCL Laser?

CCL laser is a skin renewal treatment that works by delivering light energy at specific wavelengths to the skin in a controlled way. The light energy acts on targets such as pigment that causes spots and superficial capillaries, while the resulting heat also supports collagen renewal. As a result, the skin can gain a more even tone and a smoother texture.

Areas of Use

  • Sun- and age-related spots
  • Superficial redness and visible capillaries
  • Enlarged pores and rough skin texture
  • Fine lines and dull skin
  • Superficial acne scars

Who Is It Not Suitable For?

Treatment may be postponed during pregnancy, in the presence of an active infection or cold sore in the treatment area, after recent intense sun exposure or tanning, and while using certain medications that cause light sensitivity. A physician’s assessment is especially important for people prone to keloids.

Step by Step

1

Assessment

Skin type, the type of problem and any medications are assessed by the physician.

2

Preparation

The skin is cleansed and the eyes are protected with safety goggles.

3

Application

The laser is applied to the whole area or to target points with the determined settings.

4

Aftercare

Mild redness may last from a few hours to 1–2 days; sunscreen is used regularly.

A Surgeon’s View

With laser treatments, results appear gradually as the sessions progress. Rather than expecting dramatic change in one session, following a session plan suited to your skin type with regular sun protection gives a healthier result.
