How Does It Work?

Plasma energy is applied in small dots without touching the skin. At each dot, excess surface tissue vaporizes while the layers beneath contract from the heat. As these dots add up, the eyelid skin tightens and the lid crease becomes more defined.

Who Is It Suitable For?

  • Those with mild to moderate excess skin on the upper lid
  • People who do not want surgery or are postponing it
  • Those with fine wrinkles and mild laxity on the lower lid

Sun Protection

After the crusts that form after treatment fall off, the skin stays pink for a few weeks. Protecting it from the sun during this period is very important to prevent temporary color changes, especially in people with darker skin.

Step by Step

1

Preparation

A numbing cream is applied to the eyelid.

2

Application

Plasma energy is applied point by point along the planned line.

3

Days 2 – 3

There may be noticeable swelling of the eyelid.

4

Days 5 – 7

Small crusts fall off; tightening becomes evident over the following weeks.

A Surgeon’s View

The best time for this treatment is autumn and winter, when the sun is weaker.
